Jen Psaki Threw The Perfect Amount Of Shade After Reporter Asked Her About Donald Trump

After four long years with Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kayleigh McEnany serving as paid liars instead of the press secretary for former President Donald Trump, Jen Psaki is a breath of fresh air. She doesn’t hold back, and she always comes prepared, but that doesn’t stop some reporters from asking ridiculous questions, which, of course, she can easily handle. A reporter asked Psaki if there was “any reaction from the president or the White House” to former President Donald Trump “attacking” Cleveland’s Major League Baseball team for changing its name from Cleveland Indians to the Cleveland Guardians. Right now, this country is facing bigger battles than an organization changing a team’s name, but of course, the twice-impeached one-term former president likes to manufacture outrage.

Psaki threw a little shade at the former guy, saying, “I haven’t seen his tweet or however he’s communicating these days.”

Trump issued a furious statement, saying, “Can anybody believe that the Cleveland Indians, a storied and cherished baseball franchise since taking the name in 1915, are changing their name to the Guardians? Such a disgrace,”

“And I guarantee that the people who are most angry about it are the many Indians of our Country,” Trump continued to say. “A small group of people, with absolutely crazy ideas and policies, is forcing these changes to destroy our culture and heritage. At some point, the people will not take it anymore!”

The good people of India, sir, aren’t concerned about the name change. And Trump referred to himself as a “FORMER” fan of baseball over the team’s name change. It’s not surprising that Trump wants to create more controversy and divisiveness. That’s what he does, after all. But, Psaki let the reporter know that the Biden administration is focused on more important things. Trump can’t tweet about it since he was banned on the site after inciting the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. And he gave up blogging after 29 days, so the failed blogger can only release statements through his spokesperson. Meanwhile, Biden has his hands full and doesn’t care about the mentally ill former president’s culture wars.
