Judge Brutally Smacks Down Capitol-Rioting Doctor Who Whined About Her “Shredded” Reputation: “You Well Knew What You Were Doing”

One MAGA-loving, Capitol-attacking doctor effectively got her ass handed to her by the judge on her case after she attempted to plea for some leniency by whining about her “shredded” reputation.

Spoiler Alert: The judge was buying precisely none of her nonsense.

Simone Gold, a hydroxychloroquine-peddling doctor who personally participated in the deadly January 6th attack on the nation’s Capitol building in Donald Trump’s name, appeared before Judge Christopher Cooper, who gave her a rather harsh lashing over what he described as a resounding lack of genuine remorse for her treasonous and violent actions on that fateful day.

WUSA 9’s Jordan Fischer reports that Gold told the courts today that she has suffered significant and irreparable damages to her professional reputation, resulting in severe professional consequences, as a result of her decision to enter the Capitol building with the rabid Trump-supporting mob on January 6th, 2021.

Gold, who pleaded guilty to one charge of unlawfully and knowingly entering and remaining in a restricted building and ground earlier this year, whined, “My reputation has been shredded.”

Judge Christopher Cooper apparently had absolutely no sympathy for Gold’s crybaby-ing, though. Instead, Cooper questioned whether the anti-COVID vaccine physician truly even felt any genuine remorse for what she did, outside of the personal ramifications of her actions.

Among other examples, Cooper cited a Washington Post interview Gold gave, in which her only apparent concern regarding her participation in the violent insurrection was the possibility that photos of her inside the Capitol building on January 6th would distract from her work advocating against the COVID-19 vaccine and instead peddling Donald Trump’s horrifying untrained suggestions.

Cooper told Gold that he listened to her drivel on and on about how her participation in the violent Capitol attack affected her personally but didn’t hear a word out of the doctor in regard to the five human beings who lost their lives in the fatal attack.

“I think you well knew what you were doing,” Cooper said just moments before sentencing Gold to 60 days in prison and ordering her to pay a $9,500 fine.

When will these people learn that they’re not going to get away with this?
