She just reads lines

Melania Trump turned heads this week when she showed up at the White House’s second meeting on Artificial Intelligence Education. But it wasn’t her speech about technology that got people talking — it was Melania herself.

Earlier in the day, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had set the stage with a glowing post: “Melania is a model first lady. But Trump haters can’t admit it,” she wrote, linking to a friendly op-ed.

Instead of praise, the internet pounced. Critics dragged up Melania’s past as a model. One person snapped, “Melania is a first lady who used to be a nude model…”

Another mocked her with, “She’s a first generation humanoid, isn’t she?”

That joke landed even harder when Melania herself used the phrase “first generation humanoid” while talking about A.I. and robotics.

Speaking as part of her BE BEST initiative, Melania tried to cast artificial intelligence as a powerful tool for America’s youth.

“I predict AI will represent the single largest growth category in our nation during the Trump Administration,” she said. “I won’t be surprised if AI becomes the greatest engine of progress in U.S. history. But as leaders and parents, we must manage AI responsibly. During this primitive stage, we must treat AI as we would our children — with empowerment, but also guidance.”

Some listen3ers took her words seriously, warning about risks like “deepfakes” — realistic fake images and videos, often used in adult content. They pointed out that Trump recently signed the Take It Down Act, banning revenge porn and AI-generated deepfakes.

Others, though, barely heard the message. They were focused on Melania herself. “The guy is mesmerized by her… like we all are,” one person wrote.

Another added: “Absolute prestige like no other!”

But plenty weren’t convinced. “Melania Trump is stunning and graceful, yet AI education doesn’t seem to be her expertise,” one critic argued.

Another quipped, “Melania thinks ChatGPT is just a polite assistant who doesn’t ask questions.” Someone else piled on with: “Humanoids listening to her right now are wondering what she’s saying.”
