Kevin McCarthy Goes On Fox & Friends, Compares Police Officers Being Judged On The “Color Of Their Uniform” To Racism

I cannot believe he had the nerve to say this!

With each passing day that I’m forced to live under this tyrannical, racist, draconian administration I find myself thinking — these people couldn’t possibly get any worse at this point.

But yet every day, some garbage excuse for a human being in the GOP swoops in and says “Hold my beer.”

Today, House minority leader Kevin McCarthy proved my point during an interview on Fox & Friends in which he drew one of the most disgusting comparisons I’ve ever had the displeasure of hearing between racism against people of color and stereotypes against police officers.

During the segment with Fox News, McCarthy delivered a lukewarm statement saying the people who are protesting police brutality in the United States “deserve to be heard.” But even his milquetoast “support” didn’t last but a moment or two before he switched lanes and went off on a rant about “people who are looting” and “Antifa” that would make Donald Trump beam with pride.

After coming down from his little tirade, McCarthy settled into his speech about how no American should ever judge a police officer based on the fact that a bunch of other police officers have murdered innocent black people.

“This nation believes in the rule of law, that no one should be judged based upon the color of their skin and nobody should be judged based upon the color of their uniform either,” McCarthy said. “And that’s what we should work together in principle to make sure, at the end of the day, the thing that we all believe is we strive for a more perfect union.”

I shouldn’t have to say this, but here goes anyway:

THAT IS NOT THE SAME THING.

Your police officer pals get to take their uniform off at the end of the day. Not a single black person on the face of this earth has the ability to shed their skin so as not to be a target to the police officers you’re defending just by walking down the street, driving in the car, or sleeping in their bed.

Frankly, I can tell you exactly where to shove your comparison, dude.
