Kevin McCarthy On Capitol Mayhem: “Everybody Across This Country Has Some Responsibility”

He's a bit confused.

Last week, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) blamed the armed insurrection at the Capitol on Donald Trump, saying he “bears responsibility.” From there, he has since walked his comments back, and now, he says that everyone in this country is responsible for the mob of Trump supporters attacking the Capitol to overturn the election.

The Huffington Post reports that in an interview that will air on Sunday on Gray Television’s “Full Court Press With Greta Van Susteren,” McCarthy somehow insisted he wasn’t changing his tune.

“No, I have not changed in that,” he said. And while he did say that Trump bears some responsibility for the attack, he also blamed everyone in the U.S.

“I also think everybody across this country has some responsibility,” he said.

Social media users piled in.

Someone should check on McCarthy’s wife to see if she’s OK. He sounds like an abusive husband: Why did you make me hit you?

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
