There’s a new movie in theaters right now, The Apprentice, which tells the story of Donald Trump’s early rise, and his relationship with infamous lawyer and political fixer Roy Cohn. Trump’s camp is known to not be happy with the film, at one point issuing a cease-and-desist letter, although that didn’t prevent the movie’s release.

Now, there’s another new movie about Trump, which premiered this week at Mar-a-Lago. The film is called The Man You Don’t Know, and it focuses on the assassination attempt on Trump on July 13. That was just over three months ago, indicating that the film was put together uncommonly quickly.

Trump made an appearance at the premiere, as did Kimberly Guilfoyle, as well as Rudy Giuliani, fresh off the news that his New York City apartment had been seized from him, as the result of a lawsuit from a pair of Georgia election workers who he defamed.

At the premiere, Guilfoyle, the former Fox News host and girlfriend of Donald Trump, Jr., described Trump as “a silent soldier of charity & gratitude making sure he takes care of people. He doesn’t want any attention for it, .. or any honor or glory.” Aside from the part, of course, about hosting the premiere at his own lavish private club.

Trump also appeared at the event, and stated “they cheat like hell.”

There were some humorous reactions to Guilfoyle’s statement:

So what is The Man You Don’t Know? According to a press release in September, when the film was announced — just six weeks ago — it comes from Global Ascension Studios, and is described as “a powerful and revealing documentary,” and “promises to showcase compelling and unprecedented sides of President Donald J. Trump that have not been portrayed or seen until now.”

Among those featured in the film are “Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Eric Trump, Lara Trump, and President Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump,” as well as wrestling great Hulk Hogan.

It’s unclear in what form the film might be released to the public.
