MAGA cracks getting louder

A new fight is breaking out inside Trump’s own MAGA movement. The president posted a late-night message attacking former supporters who have criticized his war in Iran.

In the post, Trump shared an article from the conservative outlet Just the News. The piece targeted MAGA figures who once supported him but are now speaking out against the conflict.

The article argued that those critics are losing their influence with Republican voters.

“Former MAGA firebrands who once wielded clout among President Donald Trump’s base were watching their influence evaporate in Republican primaries Tuesday amid infighting, backlash, and shifting loyalties,” the article said.

Trump used that message to point to Tuesday’s primary elections. Several candidates he endorsed won their races. Many of those candidates were incumbents who were already expected to win or ran without serious competition.

Still, anger inside parts of the MAGA movement continues to grow. Trump ran for president, promising he would avoid new wars. The fighting in Iran has created deep disagreement among some of his strongest supporters.

Some well-known conservative voices are now criticizing the strikes. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson spoke out against the airstrikes.

“Absolutely evil and disgusting,” Carlson said about the attacks. He also said the war was “waged purely because Israel wanted it to be waged.”

Megyn Kelly also spent a large part of her show criticizing the war and questioning why it began.

“I don’t think those service members died for the United States. I think they died for Iran or for Israel,” Kelly said. “No one is crying that the ayatollah is dead, but our government’s job is not to look out for Iran or Israel. It’s to look out for us.”

Another critic is Marjorie Taylor Greene, who used to be one of Trump’s strongest allies in Congress.

“Whatever Trump’s new twisted perversion of MAGA is, is going to LOSE in the midterms,” Greene wrote on X. “People do not want to vote for this s–t show and didn’t turn out in Texas. Maybe they will wake up now and realize Armageddon is not what we voted for.”

Trump has already criticized Carlson and Kelly for speaking against the war, and his late night post added more friction between him and figures who once stood firmly in his corner.

At the same time, the war itself keeps raising questions. Reports say more than 1,000 people have died since the United States and Israel began bombing targets in Iran. The growing conflict now leaves Trump facing criticism from several directions. Democrats strongly oppose the strikes, while some conservative media voices are also starting to question the decision.
