A complaint has been filed by the House Ethics Committee, alleging that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) engaged in inappropriate sexual relationships with three members of her staff, including two women, and that she made inappropriate payments to at least one of them. The complaint also alleges that Boebert engaged in a sexual affair with former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).
Boebert has denied the allegations.
According to Raw Story, American Muckrakers filed the complaint. The political group has targeted Boebert throughout her congressional career, including a 2022 report that alleged, falsely, that a woman whose photo was on an escorting website was Boebert.
“Sworn complaint filed with the House Ethics Committee alleges Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) carried on a years-long affair with her female District Director, rewarded her with taxpayer-funded bonuses, disguised a $5,000 campaign payment as ‘consulting,’ and arranged a $200,000 hush money payment after the staffer threatened her,” American Muckrakers said in its release of the complaint.

The complaint names three former staffers; however, it doesn’t appear those staffers have gone on the record or cooperated with the complaint. One of them, per the Colorado Times Recorder, has strongly denied the claims. “These allegations regarding me are entirely false, defamatory, and beyond ridiculous. There is absolutely no truth to any part of this claim,” Clarice Navarro, one of the staffers, told the outlet.

Boebert issued her own denial in a statement to the news outlet Sources Say.
“Well, I’m not a lesbian or bisexual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship, nor have I ever been sexually involved with any staff,” Boebert told the outlet.
Gaetz, who was allied in Congress with Boebert before his resignation last year, also weighed in on the allegations.
I am requesting that anyone with video of me in this alleged “threesome” release said evidence IMMEDIATELY!
