Following a rather bombshell deep-dive report from The Washington Post, legal experts have been left shocked and appalled by the “astonishing” revelation that the Federal Bureau of Investigation essentially “treated Trump with kid gloves” in the stolen classified document probe, as agents were “afraid” of executing the search and seizure warrant raid at the ex-president’s Mar-a-Lago resort turned post-White House personal residence, as they feared becoming political targets of Donald Trump’s.
WaPo revealed that agents of the FBI have battled against prosecutors with the US Department of Justice regarding the appropriate way to proceed with the investigation into the scandal-ridden ex-president’s blatant mishandling of classified, top-secret government documents upon the end of his tumultuous presidential term. According to the Post, FBI agents were reluctant to properly engage in the DOJ-backed investigation, as they feared that their actions would serve to turn them into Donald Trump’s political targets and put their careers and livelihoods at risk if they followed through with the search and seizure order against Donald’s Palm Beach compound.
Peter Strzok, a now notorious former FBI agent who was personally targeted by Donald Trump and remains embroiled in litigation with the ex-president, reacted to the disturbing new WaPo revelations, expressing his shock that agents of the FBI would allow themselves to be intimidated by the likes of ex-President Trump.
Taking to Twitter following the bombshell report, Strzok remarked, “An astonishing article. In 20 years of working cases involving classified information, I never — not once — encountered prosecutors who wanted to get a search warrant and reluctant — even refusing! — agents. The other way around, sure.”

In his extended thread on the matter, the former FBI official added that this fear among the Bureau was a direct result of Donald Trump and his staunch, devout allies, having “successfully chilled the FBI’s willingness to investigate anything related to Trump.”
National security attorney Bradley Moss weighed in on the explosive report and echoed a similar sentiment to Strzok, saying that WaPo’s revelations just served to prove that the FBI “treated Trump with kid gloves” after being “traumatized from the Trump era assaults on it.”
This extensive piece once again makes clear a simple fact: the FBI, traumatized from the Trump era assaults on it, treated Trump with kid gloves.

Fellow former FBI agent Asha Rangappa said the fact that FBI agents were reluctant to search the ex-president’s property despite the mountain of evidence against him just goes to prove that “the FBI has a problem, and it’s coming from inside the house.”

The entire bombshell revelation certainly proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Donald Trump has long been and continues to get away with things he never should.
