Lindsey Graham Gets Corrected By Reporter For Questioning Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Quotes

Poor Linds:(

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is being blasted over her views — she’s publicly expressed support for the QAnon movement, made Islamophobic and anti-Semitic comments, called mass shootings hoaxes, and supported the idea of executing Democratic leaders. And all of that is captured on videos that Greene made. South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham questioned the accuracy of a reporter’s quotes made by Taylor Greene, and he was immediately fact-checked.

“Are these postings accurate?” Graham asked reporters. “I want to hear from her before I judge what to do about her, I want to know what the facts are. If these are not accurate postings, [and] they’ve been manipulated, I’d like to know that. If they are accurate, does she still hold these beliefs, so I’m going to wait for her to come forward and tell us exactly what’s real and what’s not, what she believes, then we’ll have more information.”

A reporter took a minute to remind the South Carolina Republican that many of Greene’s comments are on video.

“She’s on video saying some of this stuff,” a reporter said.

Lindsey must be the only person that hasn’t seen Greene’s disturbing videos.

“She’ll have to tell me, is it accurate,” Graham said. “I don’t know; I haven’t seen the video, what’s accurate, what’s not. What position do you have today, and if your position is different today, why?”

Watch:

Greene’s resurfaced comments come at a time that many Democrats have expressed that they feel threatened by some of their Republican colleagues after the violent insurrection on Jan. 6. MTG helped push Donald Trump’s Big Lie that widespread voter fraud took place, and Trump won the election. She even wore a “Trump Won” protective Facebook mask. Green is part of the problem in how we got to this point. I find it hard to believe that Graham hasn’t seen the videos.
