According to a new report from Zenger a major, luxury booking agency that caters to some of the most lavish tastes in travels has now dropped all properties connected to former President Donald Trump, hotels and resorts alike, from their elite services.

The change in their available hotels and resorts wasn’t publicly announced by the Virtuoso Travel company, but it affects all 10 of the hotels and resorts owned and operated by the ex-president. The change reportedly took place on March 8th.

Managing director of global public relations for the agency, Ewing Belles, said, “As of March 8, 2021, Trump Hotels are no longer part of the Virtuoso network.” She did not offer any comments on why the decision was ultimately made.

On March 9th, Trump properties were still available on the Virtuoso Travel website but have seen been removed.

“Virtuoso considers many variables when reviewing both existing and new network participation. Out of respect for all involved parties, and as a general policy, we do not share comments regarding our non-renewal and exit decisions,” Belles added.

It’s worth noting that the decision came just 60 days after the now-ex-president’s supporters violently stormed and attacked the nation’s Capitol building in an effort to stall, delay, or somehow prevent the certification of the Electoral College votes that made Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election.

The luxury travel company partners with various hospitality companies to provide accommodations to their many clients and describes itself as a “by-invitation-only organization through which member travel advisers have privileged access to exclusive amenities, travel offers, and rare experiences that you can’t get on your own.”

It was no secret that many Trump properties were already financially floundering even before he was booted from the White House and things only served to get worse for him after the Capitol riots, with the Professional Golfers Association, as well as New York City and various banks ultimately cutting ties with the former president.

The Trump Hotel in Washington D.C. has been struggling financially since it opened in 2016. The hotel recently came under further scrutiny when it was reported that they had hiked their prices on March 3rd and 4th, the days some conspiracy nuts believed that Donald Trump would somehow take back the presidency.
