It seems disgraced, delusional, and washed-up ex-President Donald Trump found himself fuming with the right-wing anti-tax advocacy group The Club for Growth after the group held fast to its decision to publicly support Republican Ohio Senate hopeful Josh Mandel, despite the fact that the former guy and self-proclaimed GOP “kingmaker” had publicly endorsed Mandel’s Republican opponent, “Hillbilly Elegy” author J.D. Vance.
New York Times’ Maggie Haberman took to her Twitter to report that Trump became so angry over The Club for Growth’s decision that he hammered them with profane, explicit, and downright rude text messages for daring to defy him.
Haberman noted that, as per the usual with this guy, Donald Trump fully expected the Conservative group to fall in line once he publicly announced his endorsement for Vance — the very same guy who had to delete a metric ton of his own Twitter posts once he announced his candidacy because they trashed Donald Trump left and right.
But nevertheless, “the Club aired a new spot today featuring Vance quotes criticizing Trump in the past,” Maggie reported on Twitter, as part of the group’s effort to continue to paint Vance as a “Never Trump” Republican in spite of the endorsement.

As a result of this decision, Haberman reported that Donald Trump then instructed one of his aides to send a text message to McIntosh from the Club for Growth, telling him to “go f**ck yourself.”
In OHSEN, Trump had expected McIntosh from the Club for Growth to stop supporting Mandel after Trump backed Vance. The Club aired a new spot today featuring Vance quotes criticizing Trump in the past. Trump had his assistant send McIntosh a text saying, “Go f*^% yourself.”

The NYT reporter also noted “the Club for Growth is said to have told Trump about the ad last week ahead of the Vance endorsement,” but unsurprisingly, that did absolutely nothing to stop the ex-president from pitching a hissy fit.
Just recently, we reported on the theory from Trump’s former spokesperson that his recent erratic and unhinged endorsements that like strategy and planning and instead rely solely on perceived loyalty and devotion to him and him alone will ultimately serve as the breaking point for Donald’s political future.
It certainly seems as though she’s shaping up to be right.
