Marjorie Taylor Greene Labels Trump ‘America Last’ In A Fierce Attack

A sharp hit to America First

After a Trump campaign email asked, “Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor, did I do something wrong?”, Greene posted the screenshot on Sunday and answered in public, at length, and in writing.

The greeting was the email’s first problem. Greene gave up the title when she left Congress in January, and the White House has its own label for her. Spokesperson Davis Ingle told the Daily Beast in an earlier statement that she is “a former congresswoman, traitor, and a quitter.”

Her reply started with a yes. “So yes, actually you did do something wrong President Trump,” she wrote. The charges followed, and they cover a lot of ground.

First on her list: the Epstein files, which she says Trump still refuses to release. Next, Iran. She alleged that U.S. strikes killed hundreds of children at a school in Iran, and she put the American toll at 21 dead and 865 wounded. Those figures come from her post.

She also tied rising prices to the war. The Independent reports she argued it drove up fuel costs and inflation, then added Gaza to the list.

Her closing argument ran two lines. She told Trump he is “the snake that you warned us all about,” a reference to a poem he has read to crowds. Her last sentence was “You are the deep state, the Epstein class, and America last.”

The email landed after a rough year between the two. When Trump pulled his endorsement last November, he wrote that all he saw from her was “COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” He also called her a “ranting lunatic.”

Greene’s reply to the “traitor” label came in a post of her own. She wrote, “I’m not in a cult!”

By January she had resigned from Congress.

Her criticism of the Iran war began almost as soon as the strikes did. In late February she posted, “We voted for America First and ZERO wars.” Over the summer, she met with Tucker Carlson and other conservatives at his Maine studio, where they discussed the possibility of a new political movement. Carlson, like Greene, has since fallen out with Trump.
