Melania Tried To Honor Victims Of September 11th, But It Backfired Miserably

Melania Trump tried to appear altruistic in a post on X, commemorating that terrible September day when thousands of people lost their lives as the famed World Trade Center toppled, brought down in a terror attack. She probably was trying to write something kind, but lots of X (formerly Twitter) didn’t seem to feel this way.

The former first lady wrote:

“Americans displayed courage and unity following September 11th. We embraced our ideals of liberty and love, knowing that violence is never the answer. Today, let us honor the families who lost loved ones on that tragic day.
#NeverForget”

She was promptly dive-bombed by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Melania’s former buddy/former senior advisor, who tapped her on the shoulder and wrote:

“Right after September 11, 2001, the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history on U.S. soil, during a period of national mourning, Trump’s girlfriend Melania Knauss got her first New York cover on a Single Edition owned at the time by Rupert Murdoch. Overshadowing genuine acts of courage with questionable displays of visibility diminishes the true spirit of remembrance and respect that this day demands.”

Others jumped right in and at least one person threw her words right back in her face.

“Violence is never the answer” quipped @ArtieVandelay1.

“Melania…If you need help slip the word loser in your next tweet,” wrote @RoxaneLGibson1. “I’m afraid they’re keeping you in a safe house until they need you for a Trump PR stunt. Maybe they’ve got you on a 24/7 ‘Fox News’ loop.”

“So why did you , Trump and your family watch Jan 6 terrorist attack for 3 hours and 6 mins , America fired you!!!,” @RealJoeBonanno wanted to know.

And finally, this post, which makes Melania’s rather pathetic.

Let’s remember this former First Lady was too busy photographing a rug as the riots broke out on January 6, 2021. During an interview with Fox News, Melania claimed she was “unaware” of the Capitol attack, and that she was “fulfilling” her duties by photographing the rug in the White House as the tragedy unfolded, Axios reported in July 2022.

Must have been one hell of a rug.

Melania Trump may have meant well with her post, but it’s left a lot of us out in the cold because we know that in her own way, while she stays out of the public eye, she’s as vacuous as her husband. She’s just not as nasty as he is. While she knows “violence is never the answer,” Donald Trump has encouraged violence, on January 6, 2021, and continues to promise there will be violence if Election Day doesn’t go his way.

If Melania wanted to support her claim that “violence is never the answer,” she would divorce this horrible human being. But she hasn’t and it remains to be seen if she ever will.
