Former First Lady Melania Trump announced on Twitter a new venture in selling non-fungible tokens (NFTs) during the holiday season. “Excited for this new venture, which combines my passion for art and commitment to helping our Nation’s children fulfill their own unique American Dream,” she writes while including a statement. OK, I admit to not knowing what blockchain is. Bloomberg reports that Melania is “seeking to benefit from growing demand for the cryptocurrency assets, will use the Solana blockchain protocol and will accept both the SOL cryptocurrency and credit card payments through MoonPay.” The outlet notes that Parler is powering the platform.

In her statement, Mel says that “a portion of the proceeds” will go to “assist children aging out of the foster care system by way of economic empowerment and with expanded access to resources needed to excel in the fields of computer science and technology.” Mrs. Trump did not mention how much of her profit would go to assisting children.

Twitter users jumped in.

Ah, just in time for Christmas, and we all know how she feels about the holidays. “I’m working … my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f*** about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?” she was heard saying on a secretly recorded tape. Merry fooking Kreestmas, Mel.
