Melania Trump Makes Shocking Revelation About Secret Partnership With Putin

First Lady Melania Trump spoke on Friday about her talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin over Ukrainian children taken during the war. She announced that eight of the children were already back with their families and more reunions were expected soon.

“Much has unfolded since President Putin received my letter last August,” Melania told reporters at the White House. “He responded in writing, signaling a willingness to engage with me directly and outlining details regarding the Ukrainian children residing in Russia.”

She went on, “Since then, President Putin and I have had an open channel of communication regarding the welfare of these children.”

Melania explained that she first reached out to Putin last year, and that President Trump personally handed her a letter to him during a meeting in Alaska. The note, she said, helped start discussions that led to children being returned home.

“My representative has been working directly with President Putin’s team to ensure the safe reunification of children with their families between Russia and Ukraine,” she continued. “In fact, eight children have been rejoined with their families during the past 24 hours.”

According to her, both sides have been talking “in good faith,” and the process is moving forward. “Plans are already underway to reunify more children in the immediate future. I hope peace will come soon. It can begin with our children.”

Online, most people ignored the reunions and fixated on her “open channel” with Putin. Many found it strange and joked about why she was the one talking to him.

Her remarks came as the administration faced pushback for cutting funds to the Ukraine Conflict Observatory, a Yale University program that tracks missing Ukrainian children. The group has reported more than 30,000 cases and helped the International Criminal Court issue an arrest warrant for Putin.

The program lost U.S. funding earlier this year and now depends on private donations.

Melania promised to keep working with Russia until all missing children are found. “We have agreed to cooperate with each other for the benefit of all people involved in this war,” she noted.

She also mentioned that Russia has provided updates about the health and location of some of the children. “My ongoing mission is twofold,” she explained. “To optimize a transparent free-flow exchange of health-related information surrounding all children who have (fallen) victim to this war.”
