The launch of the war in Iran has started to make one thing clear: MAGA, rather than any particular set of principles, is simply whatever Donald Trump says it is.

Earlier this week, Trump effectively excommunicated former Fox News host Tucker Carlson from the MAGA movement after Carlson criticized the Iran operation, describing it as  “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

“Tucker has lost his way,” Trump told ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl this week. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”

Now, another MAGA apostate, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, has sided with Carlson and even suggested that he run for president in 2028.

Per Axios, Greene quoted-tweeted Karl’s tweet with the Trump comment about Carlson, declaring “I support Tucker.”

“Trump doesn’t even know what MAGA is anymore and turned it into MIGA,” Greene wrote on X, referring a recent Trump slogan about wanting to “Make Iran Great Again.”

“Trump is not America First, he’s donor first. Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the Constitution and tried to run again for a third term.”

Greene’s statement raises the possibility of Carlson running for president in 2028, possibly against JD Vance or another Republican who is more supportive of Trump’s Iran attack.

Various MAGA loyalists attacked Greene for saying this, including Laura Loomer and Catturd:
