“Nasty” MTG Brutally Blasted By Father Of Addiction Victim For Obnoxiously Heckling Biden’s SOTU Speech As POTUS Told His Daughter’s Heartbreaking Story

Enough is enough with this woman.

Highly controversial Republican and ultra Right-wing Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has been the epicenter of some serious and well-deserved backlash as a result of her immature, abhorrent, and downright obnoxious behavior during President Biden’s second State of the Union address before Congress this week.

As everyone is painfully aware at this point, Greene utilized the president’s speech as an opportunity to trash and literally heckle Biden in front of the world. Marjorie’s behavior was so disgusting, in fact, that it even earned her a public rebuke, albeit a rather mild and milquetoast one, from her dear ole friend, newly-appointed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who chastised Greene and other GOP members of the House for taking Biden’s “bait” and behaving inappropriately during the speech — something Greene personally didn’t take well to.

But McCarthy isn’t the only one to publicly scold the QAnon congresswoman, as it seems many people may not realize just what, exactly, President Biden was speaking about when Greene so rudely decided to heckle the president as though it was a low-rate comedy show in a dive bar.

Greene (as well as some of her fellow Republican members of the House) made the decision to literally shout insults and names at President Biden during his speech, at a time when the president was telling the story of a 20-year-old woman’s fentanyl overdose death.

Now, the heartbroken father of that young woman — who witnessed Greene’s abhorrent actions firsthand Tuesday night, as he sat as a guest during Biden’s State of the Union address — has spoken out on what he was forced to sit through, and suffice it to say, he is furious.

Doug Griffin, whose daughter Courtney was the subject of President Biden’s gut-wrenching story, spoke with The Independent and held nothing back when it came to his feelings regarding the disgusting behavior he saw from Greene and other Republicans.

Rachel Sharp with the publication reports, “Doug Griffin told The Independent that he found it ‘really nasty’ when the controversial GOP congresswoman interrupted the president’s address during what should have been a ‘moment of reverence.'”

“I was startled as that was the only time during the entire speech that he was heckled in that way,” Griffin told the publication.

His daughter Courtney was a highly-skilled musician, but heartbreakingly lost her years-long battle with addiction as a result of an overdose of fentanyl — a highly addictive and highly dangerous synthetic opioid that has seen a deadly explosion among drug users in recent years.

“It’s a constant battle between far left and far right – a struggle to be able to do anything,” Doug Griffin went on to add. “And I think that was the perfect example of that when she broke in there. It’s not the time or the place to do that. And I’m a Republican – but the issue of drugs is not a partisan issue.”

Fentanyl has recently been labeled as one of the deadliest drugs to even spread across the United States, and poses a very specific and dangerous risk, due to the fact that it is so easily and so often mixed into other illicit substances, often with users of the substances being completely unaware, leading to fentanyl overdoses in individuals who did not even know they were taking it.

Numerous states across the nation have begun to work to combat the fentanyl epidemic that has wreaked havoc through the US, and President Biden has repeatedly called for increased efforts to help fight the deadly crisis.

Republicans continually attempt to blame the fentanyl epidemic on insufficient border security, but the facts directly contradict their claims, as studies have shown that the majority of fentanyl making its way into the country is being smuggled in by U.S. citizens at ports of entry.
