Neuroscientist Sounds Alarm On Trump’s ‘Horrific’ Cognitive Decline—Warns It ‘Only Gets Worse’

Is the president in mental decline? Another doctor thinks so.

Yet another doctor has claimed that President Donald Trump is in a mental health decline.

According to Raw Story, the comments came from Dr. Frank George, a neuroscientist and psychologist, who appeared this week on The David Pakman Show.

“You get to the point where the classic, ‘Hold my beer,’ and then they do something really stupid,” Dr. George said on the show. “That type of disinhibition is exactly what we see with frontotemporal dementia. But in Donald Trump’s case, what’s being disinhibited is his underlying malignant narcissism. And that’s the horrific danger of the whole situation.”

Dr. George, to be clear, is not Trump’s doctor and has never examined him.

“The erratic behavior and everything that goes with that, the disinhibition, is an augmentation of his underlying personality disorder,” George said on the show. “And that’s the horrific part of it because as a frontal temporal dementia progresses, that disinhibition just gets worse and worse. And so his decisions will become more erratic, more vengeful. It’s just getting expressed with no guardrails.”

Trump has bizarrely claimed, on various occasions, that he had “aced” cognitive tests. But not everyone believes that the 79-year-old president is in good mental shape. His own former lawyer, Ty Cobb, has said similar things.

“Those are not the comments of a rational human being and certainly not presidential at all,” Cobb said in a January appearance with MS NOW’s Ari Melber. “Likewise, yesterday you had the clear, deranged, demented, and insane note that he sent to the leaders of Norway, saying that because Norway, which has no control over the Nobel Peace Prize, hadn’t given it to him, that he was free to disregard peace and very interested in Greenland. I don’t think there’s anybody outside of the United States who believes that Trump is sane.”
