New GOP House Will Reportedly Give Jim Jordan Power To Subpoena The FBI For Their Criminal Evidence Against Trump, Seems He May Try To Be The Ex-President’s Mole

This won't end well...

The New York Times broke a disturbing report, following the new Republican control in the US House of Representatives. The report sheds terrifying light on the true severity of the situation as they confirm that House Republicans — who are now officially in control following a long battle to even secure a House Speaker — are preparing to put forth a new resolution this week with the purpose of creating a special Judiciary subcommittee that they say will focus primarily on the “weaponization of the federal government,” with a special interest in the FBI and the U.S. intelligence services.

House Republicans are, as expected, in full-on power-flexing mode after they finally secured a Speaker for their majority, following an unprecedented amount of ballots to get Kevin McCarthy where he finally is today. Already, they’re working to implement new rules, regulations, and various other unhinged changes in what seems to be an attempt to show the nation who’s “boss” now.

But this comes at a grave price for this country.

McCarthy faced a long, hard, humiliating road to his Speakership, and reports have indicated that it came at a steep price for the California Republican — who allegedly had to promise concessions to far-right Freedom Caucus members. These desperate promises were said to include passing out chairmanships and creating new subcommittees to secure votes in his favor from extremists in the US House who weren’t supportive of his desperate run for House Speaker. Allowing these fringe members to zero in on the FBI and intel groups successfully opened Pandora’s Box, giving extremist Right-wing Republican members of the House potential access to some of the nation’s most sensitive intel that was previously protected from some of the worst hands this country has to offer.

Recently, we reported on the fact that controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is among those who will likely soon have access to sensitive intel and information without the US government. But, wouldn’t you know, she’s not the only one we have to worry about.

As part of McCarthy’s new House, a new select subcommittee is set to fall under Rep. Jim Jordan’s jurisdiction and will effectively give the highly-controversial congressman the power and ability to subpoena the Federal Bureau of Investigation for all of its wide-ranging evidence against scandal-ridden ex-President Donald Trump.

The Times report reads:

The resolution appears to give him authority to subpoena the Justice Department for information about the special counsel inquiry into Mr. Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election and his handling of classified documents, along with other politically charged matters like an open tax investigation into President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.

The text of the resolution would also grant Mr. Jordan’s panel the power to receive the same highly classified information that intelligence agencies make available to their oversight committee, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.”

While we have no confirmation… Yet… It’s pretty safe to assume that Jordan will likely use this position of power to serve as a makeshift mole for Donald Trump — a la Devin Nunes during the Mueller probe — leaking classified government information to the scandal-ridden, corrupt former president, regarding the Justice Department’s ongoing investigations into Trump, ranging from the January 6th Capitol attack to the stolen Mar-a-Lago government documents.

Ultimately, the DOJ doesn’t hand anything over easily — much less to a man who’s well known to be a sycophant to the very individual they’re investigating. So, it’s not all that likely that Jordan will actually be successful in what he may try to pull off in his new position of power. It’s far more likely that Jordan will instead spend his time on the subcommittee fighting a long-running legal battle with the highest law in the land, and we can safely assume he’ll fail to justify his need for intel into an ongoing investigation into the former president.

But let’s be frank — he’s likely still going to try.
