If there are still people who think Vice President Kamala Harris is a pushover, this new advertisement released by her campaign should disabuse them of this notion. The advert is hilarious and it showcases Barack Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention, especially the part where he poked fun at Trump’s nonstop and usually baseless boasting about how his crowds are bigger than Harris’s.
Remember his constant bragging about the crowd size at his 2017 inauguration? He went on about that constantly, comparing it to former President Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration until it was proven that photos of Trump’s inauguration scene were found to be edited by a government photographer to make the crowd appear larger, The Guardian reported.
Obama’s brutal Trump takedown was spliced right into the clever advert, accompanied by the sound of crickets and footage of Trump’s half-empty arenas and shots of rallygoers yawning and looking very bored. The video aired on Fox News, and MSNBC in the runup to Tuesday’s debate, according to The New Republic.
I’m sure when the Tangerine Scream (hey, I can name-call too) saw this his skin color went from burnt orange to bright red. Right away he began claiming that the former president had “taken loose shots” and that it should be okay for him to get personal too (even though he already does) despite his campaign’s exhaustive efforts to get him to “stick to policy.” Obviously, Obama’s hilarious hand gesture has riled Trump mightily, which is exactly what Harris’s campaign is trying to do with this ad.
Trump constantly relies on typically baseless (and often ridiculous) personal attacks, and TNR writer Edith Olmsted notes “the Republican nominee is certainly compensating for something—whether it be deteriorating public speaking skills or his dearth of workable policy ideas.

Of course, he hasn’t brought up “workable policy ideas” because his whole campaign is little more(hey, than a massive ego trip for him. The rest of us who are capable of critical thinking just happen to be in his way. So I’m glad the Harris campaign has gone for the gusto. I’m sure Trump and many other Republicans will continue to treat her like she’s the “little woman.”
They couldn’t be more wrong.
I’m including the advert below, along with funny responses from X users who know who Donald Trump really is.

I know seeing Obama in the morning had to raise the blood pressures of every Fox News viewer by a few points. I am always okay with that
