Back in July, the White House released a doctor’s statement after President Donald Trump was evaluated for lower-leg swelling. The diagnosis was chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a common and generally harmless condition for older adults. The note aimed to calm speculation, but online chatter has continued.
On Thursday, Trump attended a 9/11 memorial service at the Pentagon, laying a wreath and observing a moment of silence with First Lady Melania Trump. The solemn event marked 24 years since the attacks.
People quickly noticed something unusual about Trump’s face. During the ceremony, clips showed one side drooping a little. Some people even suggested he looked like he was struggling to stay awake.
The unusual moments quickly spread online. On X, users shared posts and emojis. One wrote, “🚨 During the 9/11 ceremony Trump was falling asleep. Also, his face started to droop on one side.” Another asked, “Did he have a stroke?”
Some argue that media reports ignore signs of possible stroke or other serious issues.
