According to UK royal protocol, guests are expected to walk beside or behind the monarch, not ahead of them.
During his UK visit, Donald Trump ignored that rule. A video showed him stepping in front of King Charles at Windsor Castle.
Trump in the UK: walks ahead of King Charles, breaking tradition. Because of course he does. pic.twitter.com/A6PVSm3wdj

The moment reminded some of his last visit to the UK. Back then, Trump reportedly blocked the late Queen Elizabeth from cameras during an event. Comments online were harsh. “Complete disgrace,” one person wrote. Others called him “ignorant and stupid.”
Trump is such a moron. He made the same mistake with Queen Elizabeth. He’s a huge embarrassment to the United States.

This is Trump’s tradition. Didn’t he do this with the Queen?

My husband totally noticed that.
Very weird.
What was that about?

Despite the awkward start to the royal engagement, more events are scheduled in the coming days.
Members of the Royal Family will join the Trumps in the State Dining Room. They will also be shown a special display of Royal Collection items related to the United States in the Green Drawing Room.
Later in the day, the Trumps will visit the late Queen Elizabeth II’s tomb in St George’s Chapel, Windsor, and lay a wreath. They will then take a short tour of the chapel and enjoy a musical performance from the chapel choir.
On Wednesday evening, a traditional state banquet will take place in St George’s Hall at the castle, where both King Charles and President Trump will deliver speeches. The next day, a guard of honour from RAF Halton will greet the US President as he attends a meeting with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and his wife, Lady Victoria.
