As if controversial Georgia Republican House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wasn’t already embroiled in enough scandal to last her a lifetime or two, bombshell reporting is now out on newly unearthed text messages from the MAGA Congresswoman, exposing her failed attempt to recruit a Republican senator into her plot to overthrow the US presidential election on January 6th, 2020.

Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene reached out to Georgia Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler via text message on December 2nd, 2020, seemingly in an effort to gauge the senator’s interest in and willingness to help and/or participate in a plot that Greene was constructing to throw out the certified results of the 2020 presidential election that Joe Biden fairly and rightfully won.

Greene’s first text message to her fellow Georgian lawmaker reportedly read, “I need to talk with you about a plan we are developing on how to vote on the electoral college votes on Jan 6th. I need a Senator! And I think this is a major help for you to win on the 5th!!”

According to the report, Senator Loeffler ultimately ignored Greene’s text message and did not respond to her requests to participate in the plan that she and other MAGA Republican lawmakers were “developing.” However, Marjorie didn’t back down. Greene would go on to message Sen. Loeffler again on December 20th, this time to invite her to participate in a meeting that was taking place at the White House to further discuss the election plot with higher officials.

“Hi Kelly, I’ve organized a meeting with President Trump, his legal team, and Members of electoral college votes for Joe Biden in several key states on January 6th,” Greene’s second text message to the Georgia senator read. “It’s tomorrow at 2:00. Can you come to the White House? It’s an informational meeting and planning session.”

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Loeffler first consulted her aides about how to respond to Rep. Greene’s pressure campaign text messages before she penned her reply. The senator’s aides advised her to inform Greene that she would be spending that day with then-First Daughter Ivanka Trump, so therefore she could not participate in the meeting.

“I’m with Ivanka all day Mon, subject to the time of vote on relief package,” Loeffler wrote back to Greene in response to her second text message. “But I’ve said everything is on table with regard to Jan 6.”
