Democrats have recently begun to simply, but rather brutally, refer to scandal-plagued and felony-convicted former President Trump as “weird,” and he’s handling it about as well as we expected.
While Trump and his people have been launching an onslaught of nasty, bigoted, racist, sexist attacks against Kamala Harris, in response to her sudden bombshell drop into the 2024 presidential race and her almost instant, record-breaking success, because ugly, low-level potshots seem to be the only shakey leg they have to stand on against her.
Meanwhile, Kamala and the Democratic party have taken a much simpler approach to dismantling Donald Trump with a new campaign trend that simply and plainly just refers to the ex-president and his VP running mate, J.D. Vance, as “weird,” in a rather successful effort to portray the Trump Campaign as the bizarre, out of touch goobers that they all are.
And it’s working like a charm…

Trump appeared for an interview with The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, where host Clay Travis wasted no time in addressing the “weird” elephant in the room, asking the former president, “When you hear yourself and JD Vance called weird by Kamala Harris, who believes that a man should be able to win a women’s boxing championship, that a man should be able to be a women’s swimming champion – we had Riley Gaines on the show earlier – who’s the weirdo here?”
Donald proceeded to go on a full-blown, unhinged rant that only he could truly pull off:
Well, they’re the weird ones, and if you’ve ever seen her with the laugh and everything else, that’s a weird deal going on there. They’re the weird ones. Nobody’s ever called me weird. I’m a lot of things, but weird I’m not, and I’m upfront. He’s not either, I will tell you. JD is not at all. They are. I mean, who wants to have open borders with prisoners? That’s weird. Where prisoners and where mental institution patients are taken out of hospitals and jails and they’re let into our country. That’s weird. Who would want that policy? Who wants the men in women’s sports policy? Who wants to quadruple your taxes? The whole thing is weird, and the way they do elections is weird.”
Even after that breathless schpiel, the big guy had to make sure to add, “No, they’re the weird ones,” before finally concluding, “We’re not weird people, we’re actually just the opposite. We’re right down the middle.”
You’re making their point for them, big guy.
