Barack Obama threw some shade at Donald Trump after the Super Bowl.

Donald Trump has a lot of people in politics whom he dislikes, but probably no one more than Barack Obama, his predecessor, his first time as president, and a man whose birth certificate he launched his political career lying about.

Obama will occasionally return fire, usually more subtly, and he appeared to do so before the Super Bowl.

In an X message sent on Monday by the Obama Foundation, the Foundation praised Bad Bunny with a joke about “From one natural-born US citizen to another, have a great Benito Bowl!” It was accompanied by a video, featuring different Bad Bunny songs that Obama has placed on the annual lists of his favorite songs in recent years.

On Monday, Obama congratulated the Seattle Seahawks on winning the Super Bowl and, in a separate message, praised the American Olympic athletes. The latter message formed another contrast with Trump, who launched a broadside earlier this week at an American skier who was critical of government policies.

There were some amused reactions online to the Obama Foundation message.
