People Drag JD Vance On Social Media After He Questions The Type Of Cheese Used At Philly Cheesesteak Restaurant During Campaign Stop

This is awkward!

During a visit to a famous cheesesteak place in Philadelphia, JD Vance, the vice-presidential candidate for the Trump campaign, made a big mistake. He went to a famous cheesesteak restaurant in Philadelphia and asked why they don’t serve Swiss cheese on their cheesesteaks. One of the workers replied, “We don’t hate it, we just don’t use it. We usually use Cheez Whiz.” This made a lot of people angry and they are now criticizing him for it.

Let’s be clear: Pat’s King of Steaks is famous for its cheesesteaks with American cheese, provolone, and Cheez Whiz. Swiss cheese isn’t used there, just like pineapple on pizza wouldn’t be welcome at an Italian wedding. So when Vance asked about Swiss cheese, he showed he didn’t know much about local food and was disrespecting a beloved Philly tradition.

The reaction was quick and harsh. Democratic Representative Brendan Boyle didn’t hold back, calling Vance’s question a “crime against humanity” and using the hashtag #WorstVPpick.

On social media, people made fun of Vance’s cheesesteak mistake, saying it showed the Trump campaign was losing control in Pennsylvania. Kevin Biegel summed it up well with a simple tweet: “Welp, Trump just lost Pennsylvania.”

Steve Marmel couldn’t contain his frustration, tweeting: “Why didn’t this couch humping weirdo ask for AMERICAN cheese? Why SWISS? Doesn’t JD Vance love America? Clearly not. When is Fox News going to put the pressure on this cheese weasel?”

All Out Of Bubblegum added: with a comment: “JD Vance went to Pat’s in Philly and asked why don’t they have Swiss cheese? The guy is incapable of even pretending to be normal.”

And @JDVanceIsASectionalPredator! didn’t hold back, remarking: “@JDVance ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich yesterday and asked for Swiss Cheese. 15 seconds was enough time to prove to all Pennsylvanians that he is a #weird phony and a political loser.”

But Vance’s cheesesteak mistake is just the beginning of his problems. In a recent interview on Fox News Sunday, he compared Vice President Kamala Harris to Jeffrey Epstein, which was a very inappropriate and insensitive comment. This comparison is so far off that it could be a new example of how not to talk about politics. Vance’s remarks about women and his recent finding that he’s one of the least popular vice-presidential candidates in recent history only add to his long list of mistakes.

Meanwhile, choosing Vance as a running mate is starting to seem like a bad joke on American voters. As Vance tries to fix his damaged reputation, things are getting worse for the Trump campaign. National polls show Kamala Harris gaining support, and with the Democratic National Convention happening right now, the Trump team is facing even more problems. Each day, the situation looks worse for them, and their troubles are not ending anytime soon.

Vance’s cheesesteak mistake shows the Republican campaign is having bigger problems. Did they really think Swiss cheese would win over voters? This slip-up proves they need to understand local customs better. Maybe next time they’ll avoid the wrong cheese and focus on being respectful. After all, in politics, knowing what’s right and being polite can make a big difference.
