People React After Trump Makes Awkward Comment About Taylor Swift:’ What An Absolute Creep’

Donald Trump, out of nowhere, took a shot at Taylor Swift

Pop superstar Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president last September, proclaiming herself a “childless cat lady” in a social media post. However, Swift did not appear with Harris at any point during the campaign, and it was pretty clear that she didn’t deliver her Swifties to the Harris-Walz campaign. Swift has had little to say about political matters since making that endorsement.

Trump, though, had occasionally taken out-of-nowhere shots at Swift, including during the White House ceremony for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, when he noted that Swift had been rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, the team of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. He had made similar comments right after the Super Bowl itself.

“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” he posted to Truth Social last September after the endorsement. Then, Friday morning, Trump declared, also on Truth Social, that “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer ‘HOT?”

It’s unclear what prompted this, as Swift hasn’t appeared to have made any public comments about Trump lately. It’s also not clear whether he meant “hot” regarding looks or the status of her career, but knowing Trump, it was likely the former. At any rate, it’s not something any other president would have said in a public forum.

Trump also took a shot at Bruce Springsteen on Friday morning, but Springsteen had himself ripped Trump at a recent concert.

“I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States. Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump said of Springsteen, who has regularly performed on behalf of Democratic presidential candidates for many years.

The reactions to this were fairly incredulous.
