Is he dodging, or just scared?

Donald Trump is at it again, finding excuses to dodge a big challenge. This time, he’s hinting at skipping the September 10th debate against Vice President Kamala Harris. Instead of facing the questions, Trump is busy throwing insults and pointing fingers. But is he really just scared?

Trump went on Truth Social to complain about ABC News, saying the network is too biased. He attacked everyone, from ABC’s Jonathan Karl to Donna Brazile, and even came up with childish nicknames like “Liddle’ George Slopadopolus” for George Stephanopoulos. It’s clear he’s trying to create distractions so he doesn’t have to debate Harris. But here’s the thing: Trump has done this before. He already refused to debate Harris on Fox News, and now he’s upset she might not show up on his favorite channel.

Twitter users have noticed. Republicans Against Trump tweeted, “Here we go. Donald Trump now suggests he won’t do the ABC debate with Vice President Harris… What a coward.” Others agree. Plutopanther71 tweeted, “Trump is a coward and forever will be… America, let’s vote heavily to eradicate Trump and Trumpism out of our country and system for good.” It seems more and more people are getting tired of Trump’s excuses.

According to reports, the Harris campaign wants both candidates’ microphones to stay on during the debate. They’re hoping to catch Trump saying something off-script. And we all know that when Trump goes off-script, things can get messy. Twitter user Russell Drew said it best: “Trump knows that Kamala Harris would dismantle him on the debate stage… Trump just wants to have rallies, do interviews with friendly reporters, and hold court at Mar-a-Lago. He doesn’t want to do any legwork.”

So, why is Trump so scared? Maybe it’s because he knows what will happen if he debates Harris. As CryptoSmind tweeted, “Trump knows what will happen if he debates Kamala. 👉 Trump will present zero policy 👉 Trump will insult and mock 👉 Trump will lose the debate and the election. Fact.”

Ryan Levander added, “100% coward. He knows he would get smashed.”

When it’s all said and done, Trump’s plan looks like it’s to avoid the tough questions. Will he ever stop hiding and face up to it, or will he keep running away? And as Steph E Barry put it, “Donald Trump on the debate: ‘…anywhere, any time, any place.’ He also said he’d take the stand in his own defense. Does @realDonaldTrump ever tell the truth? Nope. He’s the ultimate fake news.”
