Recently, we reported that ex-President Trump was all too eager to brag to Fox News’ Sean Hannity about the recent visit Kenosha killer Kyle Rittenhouse made to his Mar-a-Lago resort after, according to Trump, he called and asked if he could stop by and say hi because he’s such a “fan” of the ex-president.
Of course, this friendly visit between Rittenhouse and Trump certainly highlighted Donald’s blatant racism and sense of white supremacy, as he bragged to Hannity about how Rittenhouse is really such a “nice young man.” But as it turns out, the visit was a little more revealing than just that.
A report from the Daily Beast points out that the photo snapped of the two during the visit also managed to capture a sighting of the bizarre “Mount Trumpmore” statue that was gifted to the now ex-president by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem — which, according to the report, people haven’t seen hide nor tail of since it was presented to Trump.
The sculpture, which was created by South Dakota artists Lee Leuning and Sherri Treeby, makes a “surprise appearance” in the photo of Trump and Rittenhouse, tucked on the bottom shelf of a table at the ex-president’s Florida Mar-a-Lago resort.

Leuning spoke to the Daily Beast after the photo was shared with him and said, “Cool. That’s pretty cool.” He went on to say that it felt good to see the statue on display somewhere, because often “stuff ends up in a closet.”
The bronze statue was presented to Donald Trump while he was still president by Kristi Noem on July 3rd, 2020, just before Trump delivered a speech at Mount Rushmore as part of his MAGA rally and fireworks show. The statue was reportedly paid for by anonymous donors.
Of course, it’s no real surprise that Trump keeps the statue displayed out in the open, as he’s made it well known that he’d like to be featured on the real iconic sculpture.
