Political Reporter Offers A Glimpse Into Trump’s “Sad, Lonely, Thirsty, Broken” Life Amid Re-Election Run And It’s Even More Pathetic Than We Were Prepared For

He's far more pathetic than we even realized.

Frankly, it’s no secret that scandal-ridden former President Trump isn’t exactly coping well these days.

The 45th POTUS is absolutely drowning in a variety of probes, scandals, investigations, and wide-reaching legal peril since the moment he set foot out of the White House in early 2021, and it’s all been going rapidly downhill ever since. The former guy is now facing down the very real prospect of a very real prison sentence as he wades through multiple investigations ranging from the Department of Justice, to the Southern District of New York, to the New York Attorney General’s office, to the Fulton County Georgia Attorney General’s office — and countless more in between that are becoming almost impossible to keep up with.

Despite all of that, Trump has tried desperately to stage a comeback ahead of the 2024 election. Whether that was something meant to redeem him and open the door for him to enact all sorts of heinous revenge, or just an effort to reinstall some sort of political protection against all this, we’re still not sure.

But, to be frank, even that isn’t going well. At all.

Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign launch certainly didn’t stack up to be the big boom he was hoping and praying for. In fact, it’s gone pretty much the exact opposite. Not much of anyone who is anybody has been willing to throw their support behind the washed-up former NY real estate “mogul” this go around.

As it stands, the former president’s life amid his new campaign is nothing short of “sad, lonely, thirsty, broken” — According to political reporter Olivia Nuzzi, anyway.

In late December, Nuzzi penned a scathing piece in the Intelligencer that shed disturbing new light on Donald Trump’s pathetic life and 2024 campaign, and it honestly painted a far worse picture than we were even prepared for.

“He just goes, plays golf, comes back, and fucks off. He has retreated to the golf course and to Mar-a-Lago,” one adviser told Nuzzi in her interviews for the piece. “His world has gotten much smaller. His world is so, so small.”

When it came to the legal trouble Trump is now facing, Nuzzi reported:

He repeated that phrase, ‘I’ve done nothing wrong,’ nine times in 30 minutes. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve done nothing wrong.”

Nuzzi’s report is broad, wide-reaching, detailed, and frankly damning for Donald Trump’s already broken image and reputation.

It paints a clear picture of a washed-up, desperate man with nowhere left to turn to — fizzling out in the public eye of the very same American people he swindled, scammed, and endangered for four long, hard years.

Just exactly as he deserves, if you ask me.
