It’s painfully… No, humiliatingly clear at this point that scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump is absolutely desperate to breathe some semblance of life into his 2024 presidential campaign that was, frankly, dead on impact as soon as he announced late last year.
It’s no well-kept secret these days that Donald’s biggest supporters, insiders, and donors are beginning to turn their backs on him in droves and I believe it’s fairly safe to say that it’s getting the former guy down, as his usual affinity for attention-grabbing rallies and events hasn’t been showcased quite like we expected since his official campaign launch announcement.
In fact, the big guy really hasn’t done much of anything since…
However, his biggest enemy is hot on his tale in his Florida stomping grounds and it looks like Donnie is trying like Hell to get ahead of the game, before the Sunshine State’s governor formally runs him over.
Trump’s biggest sworn political enemy, FL Governor Ron DeSantis, is holding a massive, three-day donor retreat just literal minutes from Donald’s Mar-a-Lago resort turned post-White House personal residence, and we can’t imagine it’s sitting well with the former president at all.

As such, it seems that Trump has been attempting to play catch up, as the former president was slated to hold not one, but two events this week — one at Club 45 last night, and another that’s scheduled to take place at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday.
But, if last night’s “glitzy” event is any indication of Trump’s impending future, he should frankly just give it up while he still can.
