President Joe Biden expedited emergency relief for Kentucky after the state was devastated by tornadoes, and yet he was greeted with “Let’s go Brandon” chants, which is a euphemism for “F*ck Joe Biden,” according to the Daily Mail. After Brandon Brown won his first Xfinity race and was interviewed afterward, with fans chanting in the stands, the reporter during the interview misheard the chant and said the fans were chanting, “Let’s go, Brandon.” And that’s how the chant began as a favorite for Trump supporters.

According to BBC News correspondent Tara McKelvey, the President was greeted with a Trump flag, and someone yelled, “Let’s go, Brandon!” twice after Biden stepped out of his motorcade in Mayfield.

“Two ‘Let’s go Brandons’ from the crowd as Biden gets out,” reported Lexington Herald-Leader reporter Austin Horn on Twitter.

Kentucky voted overwhelmingly for former President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. I guess the hecklers’ feelings are still hurt since “Brandon” kicked the twice-impeached one-term President’s ass in the popular and electoral votes on Election Day over one year ago.

Other residents were not rude to the President.

Jeff and Tara Wilson, a married couple from Mayfield, were setting up a mobile site for storm victims to receive counseling and said their home wasn’t damaged.

She said that it was a “very positive thing” that the President was visiting the area.

“This place is like a bomb has been dropped on it. And everyone needs to come together,” Wilson said. “So far, that’s what’s happening. You’re seeing everyone pull together.”

According to the Daily Mail, President Biden ignored the heckler as he toured the downtown area that was reduced to mounds of rubble and piles of logs by tornadoes only five days ago. The tornadoes that ripped through Kentucky have killed at least 74 people in the state, with the victims ranging in age from as young as two months to 86 years old.

Biden tweeted earlier: “I’m in Kentucky today to meet with local leaders and to survey the damage from the tornadoes and extreme weather,” the President tweeted. “It will take all of us, working together, to recover and begin rebuilding — and we are committed to providing whatever support is needed for however long it takes.”
