I believe ex-President Donald Trump has officially hit rock bottom.
Business Insider released a report on a statement issued by the Pulitzer Prize Board, in which they formally rejected the washed-up, scandal-ridden former president’s demands that the board responsible for overseeing the highest award in journalism rescind the Pulitzer Prize they jointly awarded to The New York Times and The Washington Post in 2018 for the publications’ in-depth coverage of Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election, as well as the special Mueller report that resulted.
As a result of Trump’s incessant whining, the Pulitzer board confirmed that it commissioned two separate independent reviews into reporting on the topics by both the Times and the Post — both of which found that the award-winning stories still stand.
In their statement on the matter, the Pulitzer board said:
The separate reviews converged in their conclusions: that no passages or headlines, contentions or assertions in any of the winning submissions were discredited by facts that emerged subsequent to the conferral of the prizes.”

Donald Trump and his jockeys have long been demanding that the prizes issued to the two publications should be taken away from them and doubled down on this nonsense in a letter penned to the board, in which he literally threatened to sue the entity if they didn’t rescind the Pulitzer prizes. In the letter, Trump openly bashed the two world-renowned publications, as well as many others, claiming that any journalist who dares to report on him in a critical manner is “the enemy of the people.”
“I again call on you to rescind the Prize you awarded based on blatantly fake, derogatory, and defamatory news,” Trump’s absolutely unhinged letter read. “If you choose not to do so, we will see you in court.”
Insider reports, “In May, Trump specifically mentioned Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the actions of Michael Sussmann, a one-time lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. He’s also attacked former FBI Director James Comey, though he hasn’t specified how that applies to reporting about Comey’s actions.”
It seems to me the man has truly hit the most embarrassing and humiliating level of rock bottom there is.
