According to a stunning new report from Forbes, Trump-endorsed Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate, Kari Lake, has conveniently spent a whopping $108,000-plus at properties owned by… You guessed it, ex-President Donald Trump.

The publication is now reporting on a campaign report filed Friday that shows Kari Lake’s campaign dropping a staggering $18,000 at Mar-a-Lago for “event expenses,” in both April and May. A thorough analysis of federal and state campaign disclosures reveals that Lake’s campaign already serves as one of the Trump properties’ biggest spenders.

Conveniently enough Lake, a former news anchor of Fox’s Phoenix affiliate, was endorsed by ex-President Donald Trump personally back in September.

Forbes reports on the matter:

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and former football player Herschel Walker, who is running for the senate in Georgia, have also spent more than $100,000 of campaign money at Trump’s businesses. The former president endorsed them, too.

Voting in Arizona’s primary ends Aug. 2. Polling shows Lake with a single-digit lead over her nearest opponent.

Spokespeople for Lake and the Trump Organization did not respond to requests for comment.”

Earlier this week, Donald Trump’s own former right-hand man and vice president, Mike Pence, fired a brutal political shot at his former boss when he publicly threw his support and official endorsement behind Lake’s Republican gubernatorial opponent, Karrin Taylor Robson, who Pence called, “the best choice for Arizona’s future.”

It seems “quid pro quo” has just become a personality trait for the washed-up, scandal-ridden, one-term, twice-impeached former guy.
