Ron DeSantis Got Trolled Hard, Posed With A Handmade Snowflake At GOP Rally, Apparently Didn’t Notice The Brutal Wording Secretly Embedded In The Art Piece

Late last week, controversial Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis got brutally trolled after he was photographed at an Iowa GOP rally, posing with a handmade cutout of a white snowflake. The photos of DeSantis quickly went viral, spreading like wildfire across multiple social media platforms, which may leave you wondering what the big deal is. Republicans and Conservatives love to use “snowflake” as an insult against the Left, so the notion of Ron posing with an art piece like this doesn’t seem too far-fetched, really. That is until you actually take a closer look and really pay attention to the piece Ron is posing with as he beams ear to ear.

When you look a little closer, you’ll find that every single branch of the snowflake Ron is seemingly proudly posing is actually made up of the word “fascist,” cleverly hidden into the design — a clearly pointed reference to Ron himself.

It seems the photo’s viral journey across social media began with a tweet from Steven Goffman, a Twitter user whose bio describes him as an audio freelancer, on Friday evening.

“At a Republican political rally in Davenport, Iowa today someone gave @GovRonDeSantis and @IAGovernor Kim Reynolds a handmade ‘snowflake’ with the word ‘Fascist’ secretly embedded in it,” Goffman captioned the images of the highly-controversial Florida governor posing with the art piece.

Later on Friday evening, a Twitter user who goes by the handle IowaCaptive published a tweet claiming that their friend was the artist of the “Fascist” snowflake piece and had made it specifically for DeSantis.

“My friend makes snowflakes to give to politicians who come to Iowa – there are special messages for odious Republicans – please look at the snowflake carefully,” IowaCaptive wrote in their tweet.

The Twitter user did not name their alleged friend and snowflake artist on social media.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that DeSantis was in Davenport this past Friday to attend an event at the Rhythm City Casino Resort, where he was promoting his new memoir and eventually posed for photos with the now-infamous snowflake.

During the event, DeSantis declared that the state of Florida is “where woke goes to die” and vehemently swore to “never surrender to the woke mob,” according to the local report.

As expected, the photos featuring DeSantis beaming with pride while posing with the “Fascist” snowflake have spread like wildfire across social media, with millions upon millions of views and counting, and Americans have not hesitated to share their thoughts on the ordeal:

Not all artists will be Picasso or Van Goh. Some of them will go down in history for trolling Ron DeSantis so hard, his grandchildren will be born embarrassed.
