Scandal-plagued former President and 2024 presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump just celebrated his 78th birthday over the weekend, on June 14th.
As with any opportunity for the former guy to sow his self-important oats, those closest to him delivered an abundant wealth of well-wishes and birthday messages both in private and in public posts on social media.
Trump was showered with messages and posts of love, support, well-wishes, and admiration from all of his grown children and tons of notable Republican names, ranging from dog-killer Kristi Noem to amateur bikini model Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Among those to congratulate the big guy for another lap around the son was his equally scandal-plagued former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

But, according to Rudy himself, he instantly regretted his method of delivering Donnie’s birthday wishes, in fear that what he did “Might set him off!”
Rudy made the rather bizarre admission during Friday’s late episode of The Rudy Giuliani Show, according to reporting from The Daily Beast.
“We called him and left a message for him,” Rudy explained on the show. “And I hope he doesn’t listen to it ‘cause we sang happy birthday, this could set him off.”
It seemed the more Rudy talked about what he did, the more his fears and anxiety swelled, as he grew more and more concerned that his voicemail rendition of the traditional “Happy Birthday” song would put one hell of a damper on the notoriously temperamental former president’s mood.
“He likes [opera singer Luciano] Pavarotti, so this could set him off… in a whole new direction,” Giuliani tried to explain. “Who knows, it could put him in a bad mood.”
Rudy went on to add that the newly-felony convicted former president “seems to be in such a good mood lately” and that “things are very much going his way.”
However, Trump himself seemed to drop a thinly veiled suggestion that he wasn’t particularly looking forward to celebrating his 78th trip around the sun when he told supporters, “There’s a certain point at which you don’t want to hear ‘Happy Birthday.’ You just want to pretend the day doesn’t exist,” after they broke out into an impromptu rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song during his Las Vegas rally last week.
