There are so many illegal stunts that former personal Trump attorney and advisor Rudy Giuliani has pulled over the years, it’s almost impossible to keep track of them all — especially considering he seems to add something new to the list almost daily at this point. So, to be frank, it came as somewhat of a surprise to learn that it could end up being an unpaid $235,000 with his ex-wife Judith Nathan and a failed court hearing appearance that could finally take Collude-y Rudy out, and land him in a jail cell.
According to new reporting, Rudy now has until next month to cough up the dough he owes to his former spouse after he failed to show up at a court hearing in connection with the lawsuit filed by Judith over her ex-husband’s failure to pony up on the cash he owes her from their divorce settlement.
Molly Crane-Newman with the New York Daily News reports on the news, “Judge Michael Katz’s order came after Giuliani, the ex-mayor and current Donald Trump adviser, skipped a court hearing in a lawsuit Nathan filed over his failure to heed the terms of their December 2019 divorce settlement, court officials said.”
“At a hearing Sept. 8, Giuliani said he would pay Nathan what she is owed — but complained she didn’t file her paperwork properly,” the report reads. “‘It’s literally about three or four payments that amount to $45,000, which I will obviously pay,’ Giuliani told the Daily News at the time. ‘There was no reason for this because I would have paid them had she sent me a correct complaint.'”

Of course, this is far from the only embarrassing scandal Donald Trump’s old personal attorney has found himself embroiled in recently. Rudy has, of course, been a loud, proud, and vocal proponent of Donald Trump’s Big Lie election claims, and his participation in the conspiracy theories has earned him a lot of humiliation and legal peril.
Rudy is currently one of many Trump confidants who are being sued by Dominion Voting Systems, an elections equipment company, over his incessant and false claims that the company rigged their systems to farm votes for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. Giuliani’s election lies also ultimately cost him his law license in the state of New York, where he’s now barred from practicing law.
To make matters even worse for Rudy, it’s not just his election lies and his divorce that are causing him mounting legal woes these days. Federal investigators have Giuliani under the microscope regarding his alleged corrupt dealings in Ukraine during his time as Trump’s personal attorney, even earning him an FBI search of his apartment last year.
