If you weren’t fully convinced that Donald Trump is a mentally unstable maniac before now, I feel quite certain that this will likely serve to convince you.
Not a day goes by at this point that the scandal-ridden, washed-up ex-president doesn’t take to his struggling Truth Social platform with a mentally unhinged, rage-filled rant about some grievance or another. Honestly, I truly wonder if he does anything else with his days at this point. But even with the painfully low bar Trump has set for himself, this particular blow-up still managed to exceed all expectations and leave us wondering why someone hasn’t taken some mercy on the big guy and just thrown him in a nursing home at this point.
There’s no doubt in my mind that, when he announced his already struggling 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump’s ego had him fully expected to run into the next presidential election fully uncontested and unchallenged by any of his fellow members of the Republican Party. Trump has gone a long time now convincing himself that he was the true king of the GOP and no one would dare double-cross him if they know what’s good for him.
That has not been the case.

Over the weekend, the former president effectively lost what little mind he had left in an unhinged meltdown posted to Truth Social against Rupert Murdoch’s entire media empire — complete with pretty much every individual name and publication he could think of off the top of his head — after the New York Post dared to publish what Trump described as a “puff piece” about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has long been considered as the GOP’s newest presidential pick and Donald Trump’s biggest political adversary, despite the fact that the maniacal Republican leader has yet to even announce his candidacy.
Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday with a pointed attack against Salena Zito and her profile of Ron DeSantis published in the New York Post.
His rage was palpable, to say the very least:
In writer Salena Zito’s Fake News’ puff piece’ about DeSantis, which supposedly appeared in the dying New York Post, which is way down in readership just like FoxNews is way down in Ratings, why doesn’t she mention that he wants to cut Social Security & Medicare, loves losers like Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, and Karl Rove, and it getting CLOBBERED in the polls by me. DeSantis is a RINO who is trying to hide his past. I don’t read the New York Post anymore. It has become Fake News, just like Fox & WSJ!”
Fox News, as well as The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Post, are all owned by the Murdoch media empire.
