Over the weekend, Donald Trump made an appearance at the funeral service of ultra Right-wing vlogger Ineitha Lynnette Hardaway, better known as “Diamond” of the extremist Trump-loving “Diamond and Silk” duo. But in his truest Trump fashion, wouldn’t you know that the ex-president didn’t treat the service with the somber, mournful respect you would obviously expect during a literal funeral. Instead, the big guy did what he does best, and turned the funeral service into a makeshift MAGA rally for himself.
Trump, unsurprisingly, had a speaking role at the Fayetteville, North Carolina, gathering on Saturday. But instead of using his time slot to speak highly of the deceased, or share words of comfort and understanding to her friends and loved ones, his entire time on stage read much more like a stump speech by a washed-up political candidate — which, in his defense I guess, is precisely what he is these days.

At one point in the service, the ex-president even went so far as to shamelessly complain about the length of the service, noting to the crowd, ” They said about 15-20 minutes, in and out. This is a little longer than 15 minutes, right?”
I can tell you one thing for sure, because he said it himself 5 times, Trump was definitely NOT expecting to sit through 3+ hours of hymns and stories at Diamond’s memorial service today: “They said about 15-20 minutes, in and out. He was also less than respectful to the other half of the Diamond and Silk duo when Hardaway’s sister, Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson, spent the majority of her speaking time gushing relentlessly about her love for the former president, only for Trump to take to the stage and announce to the attendees and all of the viewers of the service that he barely even knew who Silk was — who played a much smaller role in the vlog, typically just serving as a one-woman hype squad for her sister’s unhinged rants.
“I knew Diamond, but I didn’t know Silk at all. I just learned about Silk. You’re fantastic,” Trump said.
After Silk goes on and on about how much she loves Trump and all the great times they had together, Trump gets up and says this: “I knew Diamond, but I didn’t know Silk at all. I just learned about Silk. You’re fantastic.” pic.twitter.com/jgReN5hW5C

The whole thing was just… Awkward and uncomfortable, at best, with Trump veering into a makeshift campaign speech more times than we could keep up with:
