In a stomach-churning new report from The Daily Beast, we’ve learned that Russian dictatorial President Vladimir Putin recently had a phone call with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz that was resoundingly unproductive, as Putin refused to waver from his own unhinged, false propaganda, and continued to blatantly deny the heinous war atrocities his country’s military is committing in Ukraine on his behalf.

Rachel Olding with The Beast reported, “Despite the nonsensical logic and the overwhelming evidence to suggest otherwise, Putin told Chancellor Olaf Scholz that reports about ‘ongoing airstrikes of Kyiv and other large cities are gross propaganda fakes.’ He reiterated his conditions for a ceasefire which largely mirror his bogus reasons for invading Ukraine: the demilitarization and ‘denazification’ of Ukraine, the recognition of Crimea as part of Russia, the ‘sovereignty’ of separatist regions in eastern Ukraine, and the neutral status of Ukraine.”

Putin continues to publicly claim that his invasion and attack against Ukraine and its people is simply his attempt to defend the security of so-called “independent republics” declared by the separatists. He, of course, seems to be completely ignoring the fact that these very separatists were already back and encouraged by Russia to begin with.

Putin’s false propaganda claims and vehement denial of heinous war atrocities come as reports continue to flow out of Ukraine, telling of increased brutality, attacks on civilian areas and people, the alleged use of cluster bombs in populated areas, and even shelling a nuclear power plant.
