Scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump is losing lawyers left and right as his legal troubles mount to a terrifying fever pitch all around him, and the ones he’s got left certainly aren’t doing him any favors at this point — most specifically, the infamous Alina Habba.
People are beginning to wonder if Habba got her law degree from Trump University, for as well as she seems to know what she’s doing inside a courtroom.
The notorious Trump attorney has been full of nothing but one stupid antic and failure to understand how the law works after another, and it seems the judge is getting fed up with it already.
Habba found herself humiliatingly scolded in court this week after the judge seemed to decide that if the attorney was going to behave like a child, he was going to treat her like one, eventually being forced to order the Trump lawyer to “sit down” as she continually made a scene in the courtroom.

Yesterday, Habba appeared before U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, along with her ex-presidential client, in the ongoing defamation trial against Trump lodged by his rape victim, world-renowned advice columnist, E. Jean Carroll. For what feels like the nth time, Habba was arguing for a pause in the trial to allow Donald Trump to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law, who recently passed away — a request that has already been thoroughly denied by the judge.
Just moments before Donald’s victim took the stand to testify, Habba once again made her plea for a trial pause.
Politico’s Erica Oren reported from the scene, “VERY testy exchange between Habba and Judge Kaplan after Habba again asked for [an] adjournment so Trump can attend [a] funeral.”
Judge Kaplan immediately responded, “The application is denied. I will hear no further argument on it.”
Habba, of course, refused to shut up and ultimately earned herself a serious scolding from the judge.
“None. Do you understand that word?” Kaplan shut the attorney down before ordering her to “sit down.”
Habba whined, “I don’t like to be spoken to that way, your honor.”
Judge Kaplan was hearing absolutely none of it, cutting the Trump attorney off, “It’s denied. Sit down.”
Ex-President Trump has referred to Judge Kaplan as an “animal” for denying their request for a pause in the trial.
