Trump’s Scotland trip has already taken a weird turn—and he has not even landed yet.
Protesters put up a sign at his fancy golf resort in Balmedie. It said the place was “Twinned With Epstein Island.” That is not something you expect to see outside a luxury club. But when it comes to Trump, nothing shocks anymore.

The group behind it is called “Everyone Hates Elon.” They filmed someone planting the sign near the gate. Then they posted it on Instagram like it was just another Monday. The video spread fast. The message was loud and clear.

This is not some silly prank. Trump is in the middle of a growing storm. The Epstein story is back. His name is floating in it again.
Last week, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump once sent Epstein a birthday card. It had a drawing of a naked woman. The message read, “Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.” Trump says it is fake and is suing the paper. But the timing could not be worse.
Trump just told Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the sealed Epstein files. He says it is about truth. Others say he is trying to stay ahead of what might come out. Either way, the pressure is building.
And the protests are spreading.
This same group also posted a giant photo of Trump and Epstein at a bus stop in London. Right outside the US Embassy. In their caption, they said it would be a shame if that picture showed up “everywhere” on Trump’s UK trip. The message was clear. They are not done.
Trump is expected to visit both his Scottish golf spots this week—Balmedie and Turnberry. And Scotland is getting ready. Police say they expect big protests in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Ayrshire.
The First Minister said they are still talking about who will pay for all the extra policing. But he promised the force will not be stretched thin.
Police Scotland’s Emma Bond said her team is prepared. She called it a complex job but said they have done this before. She also warned protest groups to follow the law and stay peaceful.
