There’s no denying that Donald J. Trump is suffering now likely more than he ever has in his life.
The consequences of his countless crimes are finally beginning to come down on his head — as he sits in a Manhattan courtroom on trial for making hush money payments to porn stars who he cheated on his third and current wife with as we speak — and the legal fines, fees, and bills are piling up past the point of no return for the guy who continues to claim that he’s a “billionaire,” yet can never seem to cut a check when he’s been ordered to.
The scandal-plagued former president has long been depending on the Republican National Committee and donations from his naive and gullible supporters to foot the ever-mounting legal fees he’s on the hook for these days. So much so, in fact, that he quite literally hijacked the RNC to make sure cash flow wasn’t put in jeopardy.
But in the end, his RNC Shanghai won’t help him much if people just aren’t sending their money to him in the first place.

As Trump struggles to keep his head above water, the son of one high-profile Republican mega-donor just made Donnie’s life a little worse with a financial snub that’s going to send the former guy over the depend.
David Ellison, the son of Republican megadonor Larry Ellison, dropped a massive cross-party donation to the tune of $929,600 in support of President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign, according to reporting from CNBC this week.
The massive, 6-figure donation ties the younger Ellison with the likes of other high-level Democratic donors, including attorney and former husband of the Trump Admin’s Kellyanne Conway, George Conway, Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz.
David Ellison, CEO of Skydance Media, made the donation through the Biden Victory Fund — an entity that not only supports President Biden’s reelection campaign but also the Democratic National Committee and various other state elections for the Democratic Party.
According to Federal Election Commission records, this $900K+ donation was the largest amount the junior Ellison has ever donated to a federal candidate.
Ellison’s company is the driving force behind many blockbuster movies, such as Top Gun: Maverick.
The large donation from the Republican mega-donor’s son was monumental enough that former vice chairman at Evercore and a Biden campaign bundler, Charles Myers, spoke out to truly emphasize the significance of David Ellison’s donation, given his deep family ties to the other side of the political fence.
“It’s as impactful as if one of the Soros sons started writing huge checks to Trump,” Myers said of the 6-figure donation.
Thus far, there is no record of any financial donations made by Ellison’s father during the 2024 election cycle. However, Larry Ellison forked over more than $31 million during the 2022 congressional midterms.
