Apparently, Melania Trump is already planning out what her future will look like if her husband does manage to successfully take back the White House in November — and, according to an inside source, that does not include a full-time role as First Lady in her husband’s potential administration.
A Trumpworld insider spoke with the Page Six tabloid recently and alleged that Melania — the Slovenian-born former model and first lady, Donald Trump’s third and current wife, and mother to his youngest son — has already “cut a deal” with her husband that lays out what she is willing (and, apparently, not willing) to do in her capacity as first lady, should Donald be successful in his 2024 presidential run.
According to the source, Melania’s focus will be primarily on her only son Barron, who just recently turned 18, graduated from his prestigious private high school, and is reportedly slated to attend New York University in the fall.
The insider claims that Donald’s wife feels that she can be a “hands-on mother and first lady at the same time,” but she “does not want a non-stop schedule of events in the White House.”

“Donald is close to Barron, but isn’t going to be tossing footballs with him when he’s the president and the head of the free world. Donald has already agreed to this, and feels that mothers and parents across the country will understand Melania’s devotion to their son,” the Trumpworld insider went on to explain.
“Donald trusts Melania to bring up their son the same way he trusted Ivana to bring up their children… Donald feels it worked for Ivanka, Eric and Don Jr.”
In stark contrast to past first ladies, as well as her first term in the White House, Melania allegedly plans to split her time between Washington D.C. with her husband, and New York with her only son.
“She’s a hands-on mother, and is already planning to spend part of every month — and potentially every week — in NYC,” the source told the tabloid, going on to add that Melania feels “safe” in New York City and, more specifically, in Trump Tower.
“It’s Barron’s home, and that’s why she wants him to go to school in NYC,” they explained. “She can provide both emotional and physical support by being close. Everyone remembers how she delayed moving to Washington DC until Barron finished school.”
According to the insider, despite the sense of safety that both Melania and Barron feel in New York, the former first lady is concerned about the attention her only child will likely receive at college in the Liberal city, should Donald return to the presidency.
“Barron has never been completely on his own before — and with the added stress of him being both a freshman in college and potentially the son of a president in a predominantly Democratic city, [Melania] wants to be close… The added attention he’ll get if his father is president worries Melania who is also concerned about reaction at his school over Barron’s ever-present Secret Service [detail],” the source explained, going on to add that, as we all know, Melania is an “extremely protective” mother.
“Melania is an extremely protective mother and even pushed back on the idea that Barron would serve as a Republican delegate to the [Republican National Convention] from Florida,” the source said, pointing back to the announcement back in May that Barron Trump would serve as a Florida delegate nominating his father as the official Republican presidential candidate alongside his older siblings at the party’s national convention, only for his mother to very suddenly announce that would, in fact, not be happening.
