Sources Said GOP’s Lauren Boebert And Marjorie Taylor Greene Came To Blows In A Noisy Squabble In House Restroom, Lauren Allegedly “Ran Out Like A Little Schoolgirl”

If ever there were two Republican stooges who seemed as though they would be two peas in a pod, the peanut butter to the other’s jelly, it would be GOP House Reps Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.

Congresswomen Greene and Boebert, respectively representing their districts in Georgia and Colorado, are two of the most prominent names to come to mind when one thinks “QAnon nutcase.” Their similarities are almost a bit creepy at this point, as the pair seems to take talking points and policies out of a collectively shared playbook. Think Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants except for ultra Right-wing extremism conspiracy theorists.

But it seems even the GOP princesses couldn’t play nice forever.

If you haven’t noticed lately, Reps Greene and Boebert appear to be on the outs these days — funnily enough, over something as stupid as Greene’s devout support for Republican Kevin McCarthy as the next Speaker of the House following the GOP’s razor-thin House win in the recent midterm elections, something McCarthy only secured by the skin of his teeth and a whopping 15 different ballots — and as their little feud carries on, it seems to be growing more and more dramatic and public.

Ever since the McCarthy debacle came to that humiliating head, the ladies have seemingly taken their catfight to the next level, as the potshots and public insults fly pretty much unchecked between the two.

But it seems the feud hit quite the dramatic fever pitch here recently when sources apparently caught the two GOP stooges in a rather loud quarrel inside a women’s restroom at the U.S. Capitol.

According to sources who spoke with the Daily Beast on the matter, Greene and Boebert were caught in a noisy confrontation on January 3rd, the first official day of the new Congress, inside the House speaker’s lobby ladies’ room, where the pair allegedly came to blows over their opposing loyalties to Kevin McCarthy, who was at the time desperately and rather humiliatingly struggling to secure enough votes to actually become the Speaker of the House.

One source who’s familiar with the argument between the congresswomen told the publication, “Greene questioned Boebert’s loyalty to McCarthy, and after a few words were exchanged, Boebert stormed out.”

Another source familiar with the squabble quoted Greene saying, “You were okay taking millions of dollars from McCarthy but you refuse to vote for him for Speaker, Lauren?”

According to the first source mentioned above, Greene confronted Boebert face-to-face after coming out of a bathroom stall. The source says Boebert was unaware that the Georgia QAnon congresswoman was in the bathroom stall up until Greene confronted her over allegedly accepting campaign money from Kevin McCarthy, only to refuse to vote in favor of his Speakership.

“That’s when Lauren said, ‘Don’t be ugly,'” the first source told the Beast before claiming that the gun-toting Colorado House Rep. “ran out like a little schoolgirl.”

Boebert refused to comment on the matter, only saying, “See you later — bye,” while Greene reportedly did not respond to requests for comments on the bathroom squabble.

Sources claim that Democratic House Rep. Debbie Dingell also witnessed the down-and-dirty confrontation between the GOP congresswomen, but vehemently declined multiple times to comment on what she saw or heard “in any way, shape, or form.”

Instead, the Michigan Democrat only said, “What happens in the ladies’ room stays in the ladies’ room.”
