Ted Cruz Cracks A Disgusting Joke About The FBI Going Through Melania's Closet, Seems To Forget How Much Trouble Donald Trump Is Actually In

It seems a lot of Donald Trump’s close insiders and allies either refuse to believe or refuse to accept that the big guy is in big, big trouble.

As of a week ago today, the scandal-ridden former president and his Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago estate were the subject of a bombshell search and seizure warrant raid by the FBI. According to reports — and now the actual search warrant itself that Attorney General Merrick Garland recently announced would be unsealed by the Department of Justice — the Federal Bureau of Investigation was on the hunt for several boxes of highly-classified, top-secret documents and materials that Donald Trump took from the White House with him to his Mar-a-Lago resort/home upon the end of his presidency.

In an effort to find that stolen material, which actually belongs to the National Archives and Records Administration of the U.S. federal government and therefore the American people, reports, along with Trump himself, have revealed that the FBI was all but forced to go through several areas of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort — including former First Lady Melania Trump’s closet.

Trump himself released an unhinged statement regarding the matter, writing, “NOW THEY RAID MY HOME, ban my lawyers and without any witnesses allowed, break the lock that they asked us to install on the storage area that we showed them early on, which held papers that they could have had months ago for the asking, and without… the ridiculous political grandstanding of a ‘break in’ to a very storied, important, and high visibility place, just before the Midterm Elections.”

“The whole World was watching as the FBI rummaged through the house, including the former First Lady’s closets (and clothing!), alone and unchecked. They even demanded that the security cameras be turned off (we refused), but there was no way of knowing if what they took was legitimate, or was there a ‘plant?’ This was, after all, the FBI!” he screamed.

Suffice it to say, the second shoe has yet to drop and Donald Trump is staring down the barrel of more trouble than he’s ever known in his life. Given Ted Cruz’s Harvard Law School and congressional history, Ted Cruz should know and understand the severity of this better than just about anyone.

But yet, here we are.

Cruz took to Twitter recently, on the heels of the FBI raid, with a screenshot of a satire article from The Babylon Bee that depicts Attorney General Merrick Garland wearing an evening gown and a sun hat, with a caption reading, “‘The FBI raid on Melania’s closet was justified,’ says Merrick Garland, wearing gorgeous new evening gown and sun hat.”

Cruz captioned the screenshot, “Priceless.”
