I think it’s pretty damn safe to say that Donald Trump is having a really bad week, and it’s only just now Monday. We’ve already reported today that a federal judge ruled it is “more likely than not” that the corrupt ex-president committed felony obstruction through his actions and efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election on January 6th. On top of that, sources have now revealed that Donald’s own son-in-law, Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, will likely be voluntarily appearing before the January 6th House Select Committee, as early as Thursday of this week, a move that will undoubtedly be taken as an ultimate betrayal of loyalty in the former president’s eyes.

And now there’s the icing on the cake.

According to a new report from the Wall Street Journal, a New York judge ruled today that Donald Trump’s family business, the Trump Organization, has no choice but to turn over documents that state Attorney General Letitia James has subpoenaed in connection with her civil-fraud investigation into the ex-president’s company.

New York State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron said today, “I hope we are winding down this whole investigation. One thing all of us can agree on is we want this to end at some point.”

Judge Engoron ultimately ruled that Trump’s company must substantially comply with James’ subpoena for documents by April 15, and must fully comply with her requests no later than two weeks after. The subpoenas in question hail from much earlier on in Letitia James’ investigation into the Trump Organization, and seek materials that include information currently held on devices belonging to Trump Organization employees.

One lawyer for the Attorney General’s office, Austin Thompson, told Judge Engoron, “We are in a truly unusual place with these subpoenas that have been outstanding for two years and three months.”

The entire Trump family has fought tooth and nail against every conceivable facet of James’ investigation into the company, but the NY AG still managed to recently announce that she discovered “significant evidence” pointing to fraudulent or misleading behavior hailing from the ex-president’s family business.

One Hell of a Monday, huh, Donnie?
