The news broke over the weekend that sitting President Joe Biden has officially withdrawn from the 2024 presidential election race and almost immediately threw his formal endorsement behind his current vice president, Kamala Harris.
Harris’ popularity and success have positively soared in the aftermath of the big announcement, as the sitting vice president rakes in record-breaking fundraising and has already centered as the Democratic frontrunner and presumptive 2024 presidential nominee.
This sudden change, of course, hasn’t set well at all with the other side, leading the Republicans scrambling to change course after spending the last several months and millions upon millions of dollars attacking and campaigning against Joe Biden — mostly on the platform of his mental acuity — only for the Democrats to throw a massive wrench in their plans with little time left on the board.
As a result, Trump and his people have quickly resorted to nasty, petty, sexist, and racism-fueled attacks against Harris, because it’s truly all they have to work with at this point.
In the midst of those heinous attacks, an unexpected person has spoken up to defend the vice president and the woman who may soon serve as the President of the United States.

The ex-wife of Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, has broken her silence to defend the presumptive Democratic nominee, particularly against the relentless attacks about Kamala not bearing biological children of her own.
In a statement to CNN, Kerstin Emhoff, Doug’s ex-wife and the mother of Kamala’s beloved step-children, said: “These are baseless attacks. For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I. She is loving, nurturing, fiercely protective, and always present.”
These disgustingly vile attacks about Kamala being “childless” have begun to circulate after a 2021 interview between Tucker Carlson and J.D. Vance resurfaced that shows the Trump VP pick trashing Democratic leaders, such as Kamala Harris specifically, as “a bunch of childless cat ladies.”
Kerstin Emhoff was married to Doug Emhoff for 16 years and they share two children together, 29-year-old Cole and 25-year-old Ella. Doug married Kamala in 2014 and immediately embraced her step-children with all the love in the world, even adopting the adorable and beloved nickname of “Momala.”
“I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it,” Kerstin Emhoff said in her statement to CNN.
Kerstin isn’t the only one coming to Kamala Harris’ defense, as social media is ablaze with supporters who have her back against the likes of nasty J.D. Vance and his cohorts:
Kamala has kids. Stop saying she doesn’t. Stop with the childless cat comments. You’re diminishing step-parents love for their kids everywhere.

Kamala Harris not having children is a feature, not a bug. It’s a message to every girl and young woman that you get to CHOOSE. This is the last thing the patriarchy wants women to be able to do.

The obsession with Kamala’s childlessness is fucking infuriating—and tells you everything you need to know.

“Vance once described her as a “childless cat lady”….Again, Harris could turn this to her advantage. …She might add that getting pregnant is not a qualification for the White House. None of the previous 46 presidents gave birth.” https://t.co/F5pktQRzQk

Kamala Harris has no biological children.
How about five children with three different babymamas? Is that more Christian? pic.twitter.com/ruTxJ5R7aM

You’re gonna have to do a lot better than that, J.D.
