Barack Obama has been living rent-free inside Donald Trump’s head for fifteen years, and on Saturday, Trump decided to redecorate.
Alongside an 8-hour Truth Social posting marathon that included AI images of himself holding the planet and a letter comparing him to Hitler, Trump posted a side-by-side of himself at age 20 in a New York Military Academy uniform next to a photo of Obama at 18 with a cigarette in his mouth.

The picture itself also came with a problem.
Trump labeled himself as 20 in the image despite New York Military Academy being a high school, making the claimed age difficult to square with the institution. His former roommate at the academy, Art Davie, offered context that predates any of Saturday’s commentary. “He was an egomaniac when he was 16,” Davie told The Daily Beast. “He was a great flag waver for himself. He wanted everyone to recognize he was the GOAT in everything he did out there.”
Obama’s photo, by contrast, comes from a series of candid black-and-white portraits taken by a fellow student in her Los Angeles apartment during his college years. The cigarette reflects a habit Obama spent years trying to quit.
One X user responded to the side-by-side by posting a different comparison entirely, showing Trump at 46 alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein next to Obama at 46 during his 2008 presidential campaign.

The post also carried another layer in context.
Obama addressed Trump’s “constant” references to him on the All The Smoke podcast this month, telling hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson: “I mean, the thing about it is… you gotta ask him what is… the obsession. I obviously, you know, have a room in his head.”
CNN previously found that Trump mentioned Obama 537 times in a single year, an average of 1.8 times a day.
